When you mix fashion with a Cantina setting and live performers, you know you are in for a great night! Such scenario took place this past Saturday, November 12 at the hip Banko Cantina in West Palm Beach, FL. The event named “Cantina Meets Couture” was a promising show, where emerging and established Florida fashion designers had the chance to showcase their collections. The evening was filled with couture, bubbly and excitement which led to the perfect setting for the featured designer Chandra Todd to present their one-of-a-kind “couture” collection.
Prior to the fashion show, the red carpet awaited for every attendee along with a flock of photographers that were ready to snap everyone’s pic for a worthy #ootd. Founder of Fashion For Humanity Events, Rebecca Kerchak was present at the event and looked stunning in a red caped gown made by one of the designers exhibiting that night. Once the party started, Lucabella provided for the entertainment with beautiful melodies that transported everyone to a tropical setting, while marketing pro Alexandra Courson, hosted the event.
Luxury took over the runway, when Chandra Todd’s designs walked down the catwalk. Each of their pieces were beautiful dresses that hug a woman’s body to showcase its curves, while showing the right amount of skin. The collection was filled with exquisite metallic appliqués, open backs, sheers and plunging necklines, all which makes the perfect look to wear when you want all eyes on you. Chandra Todd debuted their own, exclusive floral print that brought excitement and longing from the audience. The silhouettes and fabrics utilized, simply embellished the women’s body and added seduction without crossing any lines. The collection consisted of seven gorgeous pieces that ranged from cocktail dresses to gowns which range from $1500 to $3500.
